Water Burst in Dunard Estate (private, 19 houses) results in wider area water outage impact on public water supply on the R106 Swords to Malahide Rd & Estuary Rd. Environs: –


Water off 9.15pm tonight Wed 24th Mar. 2021 to Approx. 2pm Thursday 25th March 2021.

Water burst (see above) has occurred with impacts on the following estates and areas tonight and tomorrow am / pm.


R106 Swords Rd down to the left turn junction on Estuary Road, Malahide inc. all of Seabury (left and right of Estuary/Seabury), stretching beyond to Seabury Park inc. Centra shops complex and Swords Sailing School, Rugby Club on Estuary Road, Broadmeadows inc:-


Lisadell and Lisadell Crescent;

Dunard Estate;

White Gables;

Chamley Park Estate and Chamley Gardens Apts;

Adjacent R106 houses;

All of Estuary Rd inc. Seabury LHS, Castle Lawns, Seabury Rd, Dale, Lawns, View, Meadows, Heights, Wood, Orchard;

Estuary Rd, RHS inc. the Lane, Court, Grove, Parade, Crescent, Green, Walk, Downs, Place, Close, Drive;

RC Church of the Sacred Heart;

Castle Downs Rd, Grove, Croft;

Adjacent Angelo’s, Centra, Retail shops, Seabury park and playground;



Circa 1,000 Households are impacted.

Fingal Water team inc. Snr. inspector are working with Irish Water overnight to explore all return of service options inc. ‘back feed’ from Longlands, Swords and Other local fix and temporary water supply solutions.


Update to follow in mid am.


Irish Water via Capita After Hrs. Contact Centre service has been notified at 9.30pm.
