Prior Warning Notices lifted at Skerries South Strand, Loughshinny Beach, Rush North Beach, Rush South Beach, Balcarrick Beach Donabate. Excellent water quality

Bathing Water Quality results for re-samples taken on the 08/08/2023 at Skerries South Strand, Loughshinny Beach, Rush North Beach, Rush South Beach, Balcarrick Beach Donabate and The Brook Beach Portrane met the standard for “excellent” water quality.

Following consultation with the HSE the Prior Warning Notices placed at Skerries South Strand, Loughshinny Beach, Rush North Beach, Rush South Beach, Balcarrick Beach Donabate on the 04/08/2023 and the Prohibition Notice placed at The Brook Beach Portrane on the 04/08/2023 will now be lifted.

Results for the other identified beaches - Portmarnock, Sutton and Claremont and the non-identified bathing water at Malahide Beach will be received tomorrow.

The next scheduled Bathing Water sampling date is 14/08/2023.
