Temporary Closing of Roads


Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:


Date of Closure:  Monday 23rd November 2020 at -7.00am to Friday 12th December 2020 07:00pm 



To facilitate:      Sewer upgrade works



Road Closed:     LP-2021 in the townlands of Bough – Drumslavog, Scotstown

Diversion Routes:          

The diversion route to facilitate the Road closure on the LP-2021 at the townland of Drumslavog, traffic will be diverted west on the LS-6012 to the junction on the LP-2031 and then diverted North East to the Village of Scotstown.

The diversion route to facilitate the Road closure on the LP-2021 at the townland of Bough, Scotstown, traffic will be diverted east on the LP-2010 and diverted to turn off for Hollywood Lake heading south on the LS-6020 and then diverted west on the LS-6013.








Diversions will be in place for the duration of the closure.


Local and Emergency Services access will be catered for at all times.

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
