UPDATE-Water outage in Portmarnock, Wed 27/6/18

UPDATE

Water outage in Portmarnock, Wednesday 27th June 2018 to repair burst water main.

Repair work has now been completed on the burst water main and water will be restored to all areas by 8pm (approx.). Due to the extent of damage to the water main, and the time necessary to refill the network, low water pressure will be experienced for a period of time after water is restored. The area north of a line through Redfern Avenue/Wendell Avenue, on higher ground will not have water restored till 8pm (approx..).

Areas affected:

  • Blackwood Lane,
  • Drumnigh Woods,
  • Old Portmarnock,
  • Portmarnock (From Junction Strand Rd/Carrickhill Rd. Lr. to Coast Rd. to Torcaill Estate).
