HSE Covid-19 Walk-in Clinic open in Quay Street, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin
It is open until today at 7pm and everyone, particularly younger people are encouraged to attend. Testing people with no symptoms will help find positive cases earlier and allow these people take the necessary action to protect others.
Encouraging the Balbriggan community to come along and get tested, Mellany McLoone, Chief Officer, Community Healthcare Dublin North City and Country, says:
“The temporary walk-in centre allows people who don’t have symptoms of COVID-19 to get a free test without having to contact their GP first. Testing people with no symptoms will help find positive cases earlier and allow these people take the necessary action to protect others. This will help us break chains of transmission. We would ask people who live within 5 kilometres of the Balbriggan walk-in test centre and who are concerned about COVID-19 to come forward for a free test.”
